Successful Young Eagles Rally
Published on October 5, 2025

Another Great Turnout!

Last weekend's Young Eagles Rally was a massive success! We flew over 40 kids, many for their first time in a small aircraft. The weather was perfect, and the smiles on the kids' faces said it all.

A huge thank you to our volunteer pilots and ground crew who made this event possible. Your dedication and passion for aviation are what make our chapter so special.

  • Pilots: John Doe, Chris Wilson
  • Ground Crew: Jane Smith, Mike Johnson

We're already planning our next rally, so stay tuned for more details!

Tips for Summer Flying
Published on September 28, 2025

As we head into the warmer months, here are a few things to keep in mind for safe and enjoyable summer flying:

  1. Density Altitude: Always calculate your density altitude. Hot, high, and humid conditions can significantly impact aircraft performance.
  2. Afternoon Thunderstorms: Keep a close eye on the weather. Summer afternoons are notorious for pop-up thunderstorms. Plan your flights for the morning if possible.
  3. Hydration: Stay hydrated! It's easy to get dehydrated in the cockpit, which can affect your decision-making.

Fly safe, and enjoy the beautiful summer skies!
